Eastern Mediterranean University

E a s t e r n   M e d i t e r r a n e a n   U n i v e r s i t y

Eastern Mediterranean University, also known as EMU, was established in 1979 in Famagusta, Northern Cyprus. The university started its activity with 105 students in the fields of Civil Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Today, more than 16000 students from 35 different countries are studying at this university. Also this university is a part of the societies such as the International Association of Universities, Association of European Universities and the Society of Mediterranean Universities,  And the Federation of Universities of the Islamic World.  The university is active in postgraduate, bachelor, master and doctoral degrees.

3) Faculty of Business and Economics
4) Faculty of Communication and Media Study
5) Faculty of Dentistry
6) Faculty of Education
7) Faculty of Engineering
8) Faculty of Health Sciences
9) Faculty of Law
10) Faculty of Medicine
11) Faculty of Pharmacy
12) Faculty of Tourism.
The School of Computing and Technology, Health Services, Justice, Tourism and Hospitality Management, and the School of Foreign and Introductory English Languages can be mentioned as the schools of this university.
