One of the good joys is driving. Except that, many people are looking for adventure and travel by vehicle, and this option could make their whole trip a fascinating one. But before anything,you must get an international driving license, because with this important document, you can start your travels around this wonderful world. 
How to obtain an international driving license?
First of all, it must be mentioned that receiving an international driving license is possible both online and physically. For Iranian people, the organization that can help them with this subject is the Islamic Republic of Iran Tourism and Motoring Organization, which has many branches throughout Iran. Obtaining an international driving license is an easy process. In this way, the applicant can get her/his international certificate easily in a short period of time by presenting the related documents and also paying the related amounts.

Filling the related form.

First page of the passport (copy).
Expenses
International driving licenses are valid for 1 or 3 years, and each of them has different tariffs, ranging from 1,000,000 IR Rial to 4,000,000 IR Rial.

Online application method
Iranian applicants must be in Iran to get their international driving license.
Step 1: Enter the Islamic Republic of Iran Tourism and Motoring Center website. After that tap on "Certification" option and after that tap on "International driving license" option.
Step 2: An option will appear for you on the left side of the page as the “Online system for issuing an international driver's license” and click on it. After you read the rules, click on the “purchase” option at the top of the page.
Step 3: Couple of questions will appear for you. Answer them and after you have read the rules and ticked it as confirmation, finally click on “continue”.
Step 4: Write the personal information and upload the scan of the requested documents and finally click on the “confirm” and “continue” option.
Step 5: Here you can determine the validity period of your international driving license (1 year or 3 years).
Step 6: You must upload the front and back scan of your current national driving license and provide the required information of your current national driving license as well.
Step 7: This step allows you to determine how you would like to receive your international certificate.
Visiting in person, sending by delivery service (for people living in Tehran) and mail, are among the ways that the applicant can choose to obtain her/his international driving license. Those people who chose the post option should enter their personal information and address and finally click on the “confirm” and “continue” option.
Last step: On this page, all the information that you have entered will appear. Read it carefully and make sure that all of it is right. After that proceed to pay it by clicking on the “payment” option.
Note: Obtaining an international driving license online takes between 3 and 7 business days. Meanwhile, people who apply physically can receive their international driving license on the same day. 
Countries that accept the international driving license
The number of countries that are part of the World Automobile Racing Organization and the World Center for Issuing International Driving Licenses are 195 countries, including Iran. International driving license is valid and approved by all members of this organization. Note that in some countries the applicant is required to have her/his national driving license besides her/his international driving license. Among the countries that accept the international driving license are countries such as: Austria, Indonesia, Albania, Russia, Armenia, Argentina, etc.
