The government is considering giving a license to produce and cultivate hemp in the plain of the village of Mesaria. Speaking to the Minister to Cyprus Post: Prime Minister Fayez Socuoglu stated that they are preparing to sit down with an investor based in America and that they will send the legal regulations necessary for production to the Attorney General's Office in the coming days.
The minister said that “the main goal is to use them medically, apart from the production of drugs, we can also evaluate different areas of their manufacture."
